The Venue
Tucked away in the sun-drenched countryside of southern Spain, Molino la Terrera is a place where time seems to slow, and every corner whispers a story. Surrounded by rolling hills, ancient olive groves, and wide open skies, this beautifully rustic former mill offers a setting that feels both intimate and timeless.
Stone walls warmed by the Andalusian sun, soft golden light stretching across the landscape, and the gentle stillness of rural life create an atmosphere that is effortlessly romantic. It’s the kind of place where laughter carries on the breeze, where evenings glow with candlelight and stars, and where every moment feels quietly magical.
What makes this place even more special to us is that it is home. The mill has been lovingly cared for by Katy’s parents, who made the move to Spain in 2018 and created a life here filled with warmth, hospitality, and joy. Over the years, it has become a place of gathering, celebration, and treasured memories with family.
To be getting married here—somewhere that holds so many of those moments—means more to us than we can put into words. It’s not just a beautiful setting, but a deeply personal one, and we feel so lucky to be able to share it with all of you.
Whether it’s a ceremony beneath the open sky, a long table feast under festoon lights, or dancing into the night with the mountains as your backdrop, Molino la Terrera offers something truly special—an authentic slice of Spain, filled with love, history, and heart.

Pre-Wedding Event
As everyone arrives, we’re hoping to kick off the wedding celebrations with a relaxed pre-wedding get together the day before the big day.
Our plan is to host a late afternoon / early evening at a local vineyard, where you can enjoy a wine tasting alongside beautiful surrounding, some delicious food and good company.
We’ll share the full details here as soon as the arrangements are confirmed, but if you’re arriving early, we’d love you to join us.
Saturday 1st August 2026
The Wedding
We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with you and can’t wait to have all our favourite people together in one place.
The day will begin with guests arriving at 3.30pm, with the ceremony starting at 4.00pm, followed by drinks, canapés and time to relax and enjoy the surroundings while we sneak away for a few photos.
Afterwards, we’ll gather together for the wedding breakfast, which will be a traditional Spanish-style feast. There will be a selection of tapas to share, followed by fresh paella cooked live, filling the air with all the best smells and hopefully keeping everyone well fed (and happy!).
The party will then commence into the evening with music, dancing and plenty of opportunities to test out your best dance moves.
Food and drinks will be available throughout the day, so you won’t have to stray far from the celebrations in search of refreshments.
We’re looking forward to a day filled with great company, good food, a lot of laughter and maybe one or two glasses!
Sunday 2nd August 2026Pool Party
To round off the wedding celebrations, we’ll be hosting a pool party the day after the big day.
Starting from 2pm, it will be a laid-back afternoon with a BBQ, drinks, music and plenty of time to unwind together after the excitement of the wedding and to hopefully cure any hangovers.
We’ll be firing up the grill for a freshly prepared BBQ, with a selection of meats and food served throughout the afternoon.
Feel free to bring your swimwear if you would like to take a dip in the pool, or simply come along to enjoy the sunshine, food and good company.
For those who wish to keep the celebrations going and enjoy the final moments of the weekend together, the music and drinks will continue into the early evening, with a special guest DJ set!
